A Japanese electronics firm is selling a 13 ft. tall mechanical suit on Amazon that can be controlled by an iPhone or, if you are so bold, by stepping inside the device and moving it manually. Amongst its numerous capabilities, the exoskeleton, named Kuratas, is capable of firing off 6,000 bullets per minute.
This massive four-wheeled device was the brainchild of inventor Kogora Kurata who explained its genesis by stating, "It seemed unlikely that anyone would develop giant robots however long I waited. And so I thought, I might as well make one myself." And make one for the books he did. Overall, the robot has around 30 hydraulic joints which the pilot moves using motion control. It comes in 16 colors, including black and pink.
The nearly 4 ton robot is now on sale for the bargain price of one million dollars, however, a little caveat is that some assembly will be required. I'm not joking, the robot actually comes with an assembly manual.
